The Old North Bridge of Concord

This great tree stands nearby the Old North Bridge over the Concord River (seen in the background). It was the site of the first forcible resistance to the British aggression of April 19, 1775. Taken 7/5/2008.

I visited here when my family lived in Lexington in 1963. We loved the history. Great picture.
